BINDER METAL PRODUCTS
Tradeshow Booth
Challenge: To design one new tradeshow booth that would have relevance and
broad marketing appeal to a wide variety of industries in which the company
was seeking to expand. New sales collateral was also required to complement
the booth.
Solution: Samples of washers manufactured for the various industries were
chrome plated and photographed to create visual drama and eye-catching color
in an otherwise mundane product. The "parts" panel in the trade show booth
was backlit which further highlighted the product and gave the company a new
sleek and sophisticated look. The second main panel was specifically designed to
include images of the key industries in which the company operated, giving the
booth broad relevance for future use.
PRINCESS CRUISES
VIP Launch Gifts
2006 Crown Princess – Brooklyn, New York
2007 Royal Princess – Schiphol-Rijk, Netherlands
2007 Emerald Princess – Monfalcone, Italy
2008 Ruby Princess – Ft. Lauderdale, Florida
Challenge: To deliver 12,000 pieces of Orrefors crystal and Kosta Boda glass
to four new ships at international ports over a three year period.
Solution: Custom packaging to create the look of a gift-wrapped box in a
fool-proof fulfillment system. Orrefors Kosta Boda handled the etching and
fulfillment on site, both domestically and in Sweden. Once the gifts were
prepared they were packed directly on pallets, the exteriors carefully wrapped
and delivered to the launch cities via truck.
ABC DAYTIME
New Mother Gift Bags
Challenge: To design and produce a keepsake item to be placed in the gift bags
given to new mothers at U.S. hospitals. The item needed to communicate the
ABC Daytime line-up on a budget of $0.12.
Solution: A custom designed magnetic picture frame with die-cut center oval
for the baby's picture. The recipient could mount the new baby's picture in a
colorful frame on a refrigerator or other magnetic surface. The center oval
popped out for use as an additional colorful magnet, providing the daytime
television viewing schedule in an easily referenced format. The magnet center
could be used to hold pictures and its placement generated additional
impressions. The frame was packaged in a cello bag to further reinforce
the "gift" presentation.
